About:
I am a freelance illustrator and muralist with a love for immersive, organic, and uplifting illustrations – preferably done by hand. The connection between a sustainable, healthy lifestyle and a healthy planet has long fascinated me, particularly how (author-) illustrators can communicate challenging topics in an empowering and encouraging way. I hope to inspire people to reflect on the human- nature relationship – and though its heart-breaking state – I aim for a visual language which is gentle and delights, too, using vibrant layers of acrylics, pencils and pastels. Connecting people with the joy and enchantment of what one wishes to protect is what ultimately gives them the energy to do so.
Alongside my passion for creative non-fiction picturebooks, I also love painting murals for medical environments which radiate warmth and appreciation – for patients, their families and the medical staff who cares for them.
