Hi, I’m Lauren
My practice involves authoring and illustrating fantasy narratives for young audiences including picture books, zines and comics. I love the tactility of traditional materials and frequently use gouache, watercolour, coloured pencil and inks to create my work, though I occasionally use digital drawing methods as well!
I aim to write charming, emotional stories by combining deep-rooted feelings such as failure, selfishness, and hopelessness with vibrant visuals to inspire connection and empathy.
