Hi I’m Lily!
I have a huge passion for comics and more recently I have started to explore the world of concept art. I don’t have an exact set way of working; it usually depends on my current interests to inform what kind of media I will work in for specific projects or what kind of art style I want to try out. In recent months I have found myself drawn to traditional mediums, specifically dip pen and ink. However, my love for digital art is starting to creep back into my practice.
I’m inspired by animation, mythology, fantasy and science fiction. mostly I enjoy taking everyday scenarios and environments and exaggerating them by adding in my own silly little characters. I will always try to add comedy into my work, I want people to enjoy my art and laugh with my jokes, be it through slapstick humour or exaggerated goofy expressions.
