Hello! I'm Bibi.
My practice gathers brief, heartwarming moments from everyday life. Just as these encounters warm our hearts, I hope to bring that same joy to the viewer through visual storytelling.
Guided by the belief that a heartful mind matters, I’m drawn to themes of positivity and emotional well-being. In my recent work, ‘No Worries’ I draw inspiration from this warm and commonly used British phrase, reflecting moments of kindness I’ve encountered and tracing a personal journey of learning to extend that same tenderness toward myself.
I employ pastels and coloured pencils to create soft tones that feel as warm as a sun-kissed blanket, and I often incorporate rounded, chubby shapes, echoing the way a real hug wraps into a perfect circle. Through these visual elements, I hope to offer a sense of being gently embraced, comforted, and healed.
